Box of 12 Italian Marron Glace’s. Fresh chestnuts are plucked by hand in the magical woods of Italy,peeled ,cleaned ,cooked and sugared for several days in a series of various vanilla syrups to gradually increase the sugar content in the heart of the fruit.Lastly, they are glazed with icing sugar and baked briefly and packed.
Marrons glacés may be eaten on their own. They are also the basis for many desserts, among which is the famous “crème de marrons”, flavoured with a hint of vanilla, and itself a staple ingredient for other desserts, such as the Mont Blanc (puréed with cream), ice creams, cakes, sweet sauce or garnish for other desserts ...
GENERAL DELIVERY INFORMATION
All products on this website are available for nationwide delivery to the whole of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland). We can arrange flowers to be delivered to Southern Ireland (Eire) though a surcharge will apply for this. UK Delivery is completed (next day or future date as required) by courier or delivered by our network of locally appointed florists on a before 6pm service Monday - Saturday only (some rural areas excluded). Our delivery service is available on Sundays and Bank Holidays in the Edinburgh area only. For Edinburgh Central area please e-mail us for further information.
Orders for delivery on the next working day need to be placed by 3.00pm the day before, (Same Day Delivery order before 2pm). Orders made for delivery on Monday need to be placed by 3.00pm the preceding Saturday.
Please Note, we can deliver flowers anywhere in the UK on same day delivery (except Sundays), however chocolates and hampers can only be delivered same day within the following postcode range: EH1-EH46

As we specialise in delivering gifts our deliveries are made using a courier service on the day requested. It also the cheapest way of shipping out all orders that are over 1.5 kilos in weight MAXIMUM COURIER CHARGE MONDAY - FRIDAY IS £6.99
