Bay Tree Laurus Nobilis

The Laurus Nobilis is a aromatic tree native to the Mediterranean and known for its smooth bay leaves which adds a delicious fragrance in cooking, however these are unfortunately not edible or food safe. This tree has a beautiful shrub head with vibrant evergreen large leaves and a gorgeous spiral stem. The Laurus Nobilis can last very long with proper care and a good liquid feed. We advise to position it sheltered outdoors, in full sun or partial shade and the soil must be well drained as over watering can lead to root damage. It is suited to temperatures between 5-35ºC but bear in mind harsh winds and frost can damage this evergreen shrub.
