The Blue Hydrangea Plant is the Macrophylla variety, it has a stunning shades of blue with lovely large heads with small flowers and they are native to Japan. Once it has finished flowering it can be planted in the garden and will bloom every year, to encourage growth cut back slightly at the beginning of spring for established hydrangea plants only. It requires plenty of light and ideally suited to a location with partial shade and keep it sheltered from harsh winds. Water twice a week and do not allow the soil to dry out, keep it wet. Hydrangeas suit warm temperatures of 15°C+ and can be toxic to pets & horses.
