The Neuhaus History Collection is more than a box of chocolates, it's a unique piece of art that tells its own story - the story of the Neuhaus family business, from 1857 until the present times.
The Neuhaus History Collection comprises an assortment of 28 classic pieces, each representing a milestone in Neuhaus’s history.
The giftbox, which is housed in a giftbag, features a design inspired by the Queen’s Gallery in Brussels. Inside the box is a leaflet that explains the story of each filled chocolate.
The Neuhaus Story
Neuhaus' story begins in 1857 in a small apothecary's shop in Belgium, where Jean Neuhaus, decided to cover his medicines in chocolate in order to make them more palatable for his customers. He and his son soon became so passionate about chocolate that this became their primary business. Since then Neuhaus have dedicated themselves to creating and perfecting exotic and traditional flavours, always ensuring each one tastes as good as it looks. They are credited as the inventor of the praline, which is pretty special. They commit themselves to producing packaging that reflects the artisan legacy of their product and are one of the few chocolatiers that still does all its manufacturing in Belgium.
