The Philodendron Xanadu is it's most common name, but is also known as Cut-leaf Philodendron, Xanadu, Winterbourn, Thaumatophyllum Xanadu and it's biological name is Philodendron Bipinnatifidum. It is native to Brazil and is a tropical plant which is toxic to pets and should be kept outwith the reach of children.
The Philodendron should be watered well when the top half or atleast two inches of the soil is dry but be careful not to over water this plant. Do not leave its saucer sitting in water, please drain the saucer and in general it is better to have it on the dryer side. This plant likes medium indirect sunlight but too much sun can damage the leaves and overtime it will grow bushier. It's an air purifying plant that must be kept in a warm environment, in moist conditions away from the cold.
